Das Schweizer Team Superbüsi gewinnt auch den 3.Act des diesjährigen internationalen Alpencups in gewohnt souveräner Art und holt sich vorzeitig den Gesamtsieg.

St. Gilgen. After a sunny period with thermal winds tunderstorms rocks around the race course at the 3rd Act of the CEAC and provides a lot of action to the 16 teams from 5 nations.

At Saturday westerly winds increases at afternoon and at the first start 20+ kts provides selective sailing conditions to the crews. at the first downwind at 2nd position Austrian “La Burra” lost a part of the rudder at 10 kts speed and have to quit the hole series. Swiss “Superbüsi” won the race followed by “reach around” of England and “Ursar Minor- SUI 220?. The second race with decreasing wind but more tactical than physical also ends with a win of Superbüsi, 2nd “Axolotl” of Switzerland followed by “B52-Conquest”. A 3rd race ofter a wind shift to south-east was started but could not finished caused by lack of wind. Afterwards the teams enjoy the sunny evening at the club house of the Union Yacht Club Wolfgangsee with barbecue and beer.

Sunday afternoon starts with nice wind from south and increases for the start for short time to 6 Bft. Afterwards it is looking to stabilize but after the start of the Esse 850 class and the Platu 25 windspeed pushes up in less minutes to 35 kts!! For sure this causes some problems at the lake and race committee have to  abdoned the race also because of gale warning sign at the cost. Austrian”Mahagoni” team was near the wall of the Falkensteinwand without of control lying flat on the water. But they find a tiny bay at the cost and did a rock & tack in the sand of the bay 2 meters for a massive crash. The boat was without any damage… Superbüsi enjoy a nice downwind with 15 kts speed and old spinnaker, afterwards all competitors an RC hide in a bay but the storm blows for long time and no race can be started again.

For Superbüsi the win of act 1-3 means that they can win the cup before the final in Lucerne (YC-Luzern) with the max. points of 300! At the other top positions there will be a hard fight in september! Interim result of the 9th CEAC after 3 act`s.
