Race Office:
All matters concerned with the organization, conduct of the races, sailing instructions and
protests are to be directed to this office.
The office is located on the first floor in the left building of the Club.

Rules:
The Championship will be governed by the rules defined in:
- The Racing Rules of Sailing: ISAF 2005 - 2008
- The Sailing Instructions 2007 of the Austrian Sailing Federation
- The Regulations of the Class Association
- The Sailing Instructions of the UYC Wolfgangsee

Notices to competitors:
The official regatta notice board is located in front of the left building.

Races/Scoring:
10 Races are scheduled with one discard if 6 or more races have been completed.
If 5 or less races are completed there will be no discard.
A minimum of 5 Races is necessary for an European Championship.
There can be started 3 races per day.
The Low Point Scoring System in accordance with RRS app. A will apply.

Eligibility:
All competitors must be currently paid members of the IOU and of a
Sailing Club affiliated to a National Yachting Authority.

Insurance:
All helmsmen participating in the Championship must provide evidence
at registration that they have minimum third party liability insurance of at
least € 500.000.

Entry Fee:
€ 110 to be paid at the registration in the Regatta Office.

Entries:
The final entry date is July 10th.
The entries shall be sent via entry form of the homepage: www.uyc-wolfgangsee.at

Prizes:
Medals for the first, second and third in the Championship.
Championship prizes for the places 1 – 10 - Give away prizes.

Course:
UP and DOWN course with a second buoy next to the windward mark (diagram on the notice board).
All marks shall be left on port side.
When changing the windward mark (Code flag “C”) only one windward mark will remain.
In this case the second mark will be removed.

Start:
The starting line will be between the red-white staff on the starting vessel and the leeward mark.

Finish:
The Finish will be on the leeward side of the course (starting area).
The finishing line will be between the red-white staff on the starting vessel and a yellow buoy
with an orange flag astern of the boat.
The same finishing line will apply when there is a shortening on the leeward side of the course.
The shortening will be signaled before rounding the leeward mark.

Next Race:
The beginning of a second or third race immediately after a completed one will be signaled as follows:
2 minutes before the “Warning Signal” an ORANGE Flag will be raised with a long sound.
At the same time Code flag “L” or “AP” will be lowered.

Safety:
Participants and boats shall be equipped with all required safety equipment in accordance
to the Regulations of the Class Association.

Liability:
The Organizing Authority, IOU, Officers and Members of UYC-Wolfgangsee and any other party
involved in the Championship shall accept no liability whatsoever for death, injury or any other
personal or material damage or loss sustained by any participant or third party before, during or
after the Championship.
All competitors shall accept that their participation in the event is at their exclusive risk in every respect.

Parking:
Cars, Trailers, Motorhomes & Caravans: Please follow the instructions of the staff.

Accomodation:
There are about 25 parking spots for motorhomes next to the Club.
When you reserve before July 4th you will receive confirmation for a spot.

After registration and payment of € 40 fee per person you can use the provided Parking Area
for the duration of the regatta. Included in this fee is the use of the toilets and showers in
the Clubhouse and electricity.
Camping (tents) next to the Clubhouse is not permitted. Please use the campsites,
which are not far from the Club. (4 km - 10min by car).
