Ein seltenes Kunststück gelang Anna Luschan mit Vorschoter Chritopher Eisl (beide UYC Wg) mit Ihrem 49er FX Skiff bei der
diesjährigen Wettfahrt ums "Blaue Band" am Wolfgangsee. Die Seglerin des öst. Nationalteams überquerte mit dem anspruchsvollen
Sportgerät bei ordentlich Westwind (bis 5 Bft). nicht nur als erstes und absolut schnellstes Boot die Ziellinie, sondern
ersegelte zudem  genügend Vorsprung, um auch die Wertung nach berechneter Zeit und damit das sogenannte "Weiße Band" zu gewinnen.
Luschan hielt damit auch Clubkollegen und Vorjahressieger Florian Raudaschl (auf ultramodernem Boot Quant 30 unterwegs) auf Distanz.
Platz 3 ging an die Melges24 von Phillip Schineis und Crew.

Rudi Mayr / Anna Boustani / Philippe Boustani machen das Sommermärchen für den UYC Wolfgangsee wahr und holen den Weltmeistertitel im Heimrevier, für den Club, für Salzburg und für Österreich!
Rudi Mayr gewinnt nach 16 Jahren (2000/Skodstrup, Dänemark) zum zweiten Mal WM-Gold und setzt die Erfolgsstory der österreichischen Yngling-Segler fort.

After a tough fight during 10 races against the dutch team of Gert Roukema, Rudi Mayr and his team secured the title of World champion in the Yngling Class in the last race of the day.
The 2 last races (of 10 scheduled) were sailed under perfect weather an wind conditions today to complete the whole planned series of the Yngling World Championships.
For Rudi Mayr it is the second world champion title after winning it 16 years ago in Denmark (2000/Skotstrup).
On the third place the next dutch team (NED 335) of Kai Moorman, winning also the title of Yngling Youth World Champion as best youth team.
